SkinMedica Total Defense Repair SPF 34 protects skin from sun damage and prevents aging due to chronic exposure to infrared light. Using an advanced antioxidant complex, this restorative formula goes beyond UVA and UVB protection, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improving the skin's texture and evening skin tone. Slightly tinted, this lightweight formula also provides sheer coverage for a smooth, polished complexion.
Apply liberally to face and neck before sun exposure and as needed. Reapply after towel drying, swimming or sweating. The product is for external use only.

i LUV this soooo much, ever since i started getting facials at age 28, the spa had this products n told me to start using this every day rain or shine due to sun damage. on skin. I kept using it n it will be 2 years since n still buying this i use one bottle per month since we go to the park a lot with the dogs, which its always hot n sunny in Houston. My favorite product!
The Total Defense Repair SPF 34-Tinted is fantastic. The price seems a little steep, but you get what you pay for and this is fairly large in size being 2.3 ounces. I have often paid close to $50.00 for 1 ounce with NO sun protection being added to the formula. This product is great because it includes the needed sun protection for the face and acts as a foundation for me which is extremely convenient for people on the go. This is a tinted formula so the color may not suit everyone. I believe there is a non-tinted formula available from this brand as well. Sometime the color is a little off for me depending on the time of year, but it's a super easy fix. I add a tiny tiny drop of another foundation color or a moisturizer to adjust the color. I will also sometimes use a loose powder overtop. The color is easy for me to adjust since I don't need a whole lot, I use 1-2 pumps and apply it with a blending sponge or use foundation small brush; in the summer months I feel like I don't need to adjust much. The pump is super convenient and I love that it comes in a plastic bottle which makes it easy for travel without having to worry about breakage. Love this product!!!

This product is a staple with daily routine. I tried the smaller travel size once and that was overly pigmented - the full size bottle is great! I used to use Revision Intellishade but found that product was hard to order even though I also enjoyed it. The Tinted Total Defense Repair has the perfect amount of coverage I need for the day and also provides SPF and goes weightlessly!

I love this stuff!
I got a sample of this in one of my packages from Dermstore and I thought there was no way I was going to try anything tinted. But I tried it anyway and it made my skin look fantastic! So smooth! It was a little dark in terms of tint, so I end up mixing 3/4 of it with 1/4 of another SPF moisturizer and it's the perfect combo (I use Body Shop Vitamin C lotion with SPF) but I'm guessing the total defense repair untinted would be even better.

THERE'S A TRICK TO USING IT
Yes, this sunscreen is VERY pigmented. Mix one pump of this sunscreen with one pump of SkinMedica Essential Defense Mineral Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 35, (or some other non-tinted sunscreen), then apply. It's the only way you can control the amount of pigmentation that goes on your skin, and it comes out looking flawless. After it dries, I set mine with a thin layer of powder. Gorgeous.
