Formulated for skin types pre-conditioned to retinol treatments, it minimizes the appearance of age spots and wrinkles. It also improves elasticity and works effectively to visibly reduce acne scars. Apply a single pump to face in the evening. If you have never used a retinol product before, begin by limiting use to twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated. Mild redness, peeling and irritation is expected when using this product. Use daily sun protection with SPF 20 or higher during use of this product. Avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.

Huge difference
I have been using olay retinol 24 for about 6 months and roc about 6 months before that. I didn't know what strength retinol it was, and still don't, but I figured I'd be good with this. Let me say, I started using this nightly and got about 2 nights in before my face got extremely irritated, burning and peeking...and i was unable to use it for 2 nights. Then tried 2 nights again and needed another break. Just did 3 nights and needed another break. But my skin is improving so fast. My under eye wrinkles, mouth wrinkles and even forehead wrinkles are reducing already. This is a slow process getting used to the product but I won't go back to olay or roc. I love this!!

I can tell it's much stronger than the 0.5 and 0.25 strengths because of the tingle, skin turnover, etc. subtracted one star because it concerns me the lotion yellows a bit which leads me to believe that oxidation in the pump may occur. Other than that this is amazing and I use it every other day now that my skin is conditioned to retinols.

Best Retinol product I've used
I'm 33 yo and have been into taking care of my skin and just skin care I'm general since my teens. I've been trying to find a new Retinol serum after finishing my Sunday Riley A Retinol serum. After doing some research, all the positive reviews, the before and afters I ordered the 1.0. I know that you can experience some dryness and irritation, but that hasn't happened to me with any non prescription Retinol. So After the first night I was surprised to wake with some dry spots and peeling skin, it wasn't irritated or anything to me it just meant it works.
