SkinMedica's Age Defense Retinol Complex 1.0 enhances the skin's appearance to promote a smoother, rejuvenated complexion. Formulated for skin types pre-conditioned to retinol treatments, it minimizes the appearance of age spots and wrinkles. It also improves elasticity and works effectively to visibly reduce acne scars. With continued use, faster cell renewal is encouraged.

Apply a single pump to face in the evening. If you have never used a retinol product before, begin by limiting use to twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated. Mild redness, peeling and irritation is expected when using this product. Use daily sun protection with SPF 20 or higher during use of this product. Avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.

I have been using using Skin Medica retinol 1.0 for several years. I think it is a great product and use it every other night and I use a moisturizer over it which I suggest to anybody who has sensitive skin. I no longer peel since my esthetician suggested this.

I am shook. I tried a retinol cream a few years ago but a VERY low dose and it didn't seem to do much for my acne so I gave up. I stumbled on this product and figured I should try again but with a higher concentration of retinol and OH MY GOODNESS. My acne has completely gone away. Like... none. Not a single spot.
