SkinMedica's Purifying Foaming Wash efficiently removes dirt, oil and impurities from clogged pores to reduce breakouts. Salicylic acid and tea tree oil gently exfoliate while neutralizing acne-causing bacteria. Botanical extracts of witch hazel and allantoin calm irritation and balance oil production for a clearer, more even complexion.
Key Ingredients:
- Salicylic Acid 2.0%: a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) with keratolytic activity to help reduce the number of acne blemishes
- Tea Tree Leaf Oil: a natural preservative known for its purifying properties
- Witch Hazel Extract: mildly astringent, it helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. It is also an effective antioxidant

Moisten skin with warm water. Dispense two full pumps of Foaming Acne Wash into palm of hand, apply to face and gently massage over entire face for one minute. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

THE BEST Face Wash for Acne Prone/Oily Skin
I first used this product about 6 years ago when it was recommended by my dermatologist to control my cystic acne. Within a week of using this my skin had almost completely cleared up. Over the past 6 years, I have tried other products; which have failed miserably. In fact, several months ago, after I stopped using this foam, I started having significant skin issues again. I tried OTC treatment creams, home remedies, and the Skinceuticals acne system (completely dried my skin out). Once again, I purchased the Purifying Foaming Wash and once again, it did not disappoint!! I think I've learned my lesson and will be sticking with this from now on. It's gentle enough to use both AM and PM and does a great job removing makeup. I would (and have) recommend this product to anyone who is dealing with any kind of breakouts. I have yet to have someone who has tried this not love it!!

This is a great face wash for oily, acne-prone skin. It cleanses well but doesn't dry out your face. I use it with my Clarsonic brush. The only negative is that it doesn't last very long for the price of the product.
