SkinMedica's AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser combines alpha and beta hydroxy acids to remove dead cells and other impurities from your skin to enhance a smoother and brighter complexion. Round soft jojoba spheres provide gentle exfoliating action while lavender extract tones and soothes inflammation. Mildly astringent citrus oils minimize large pores for a radiant and refreshed appearance.

Moisten skin with warm water. Apply a small amount to the fingertips, add a little water and gently exfoliate and cleanse the face using small circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use as often as needed. Avoid getting in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Favorite exfoliant when used in moderation
Have been using this product for five years. Helped clear my skin when I had sever acne. I now exfoliate on chest and back every day, and face every other day, alternating with tretinoin. I leave on about two minutes as a face mask so the product has more time to work. Bha is good for acne, and aha good for glow. Since glycolic acid is a strong AHA, I can imagine that more sensitive skin types would need to use more sparingly, like once a week. Highly recommend working this into your routine if your skin can tolerate it.

Sensitive Skin Beware
I have been using SkinMedica products for years and have had no issues. After my favorite fash wash changed ingredients, I decided to try SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. I didn't have any issues with the first bottle, but with the second bottle, I began to notice that my skin would get really dry, red, and flakey, whenever the temperature changed or I traveled. The redness, dryness, and flakiness would last for over a week and every time I wash my face or put product on my skin, the area would burn. Before using SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser I was not known for having sensitive skin.
