SkinCeuticals Simply Clean is a refining gel cleanser that gently removes excess oils, makeup and debris, leaving the skin feeling perfectly pure and fresh. Formulated with botanical extracts, this facial cleanser works to soothe, nourish and hydrate, while hydroxy acids exfoliate, resulting in a smooth, supple texture and clear, radiant tone.

- Fruit Acid Blend: works synergistically to gently exfoliate dead skin cells.

Works well but just a bit drying
I have dry skin overall and bought this to use as my night cleanser to make sure makeup is completely off. It does a good job at that. If I don't put moisturizer on immediately, it does get a bit drying, but not as bad as other cleansers I've used. You only need a pea size amount because it foams well so with this size, it will last a long time.

Skin details: dry, sensitive, Fitzpatrick type 3, have been on Accutane for the past 8mos. Really good second cleanser. Takes away any remaining makeup or sunscreen after my first oil cleanse. Was scared it would be overly stripping when I first used it since I've always had bad experiences with cleansers that foam and promise any type of exfoliation, but I didn't feel this stripped my skin or made me feel drier, not even in the winter! Giving it four and not five stars because it has a fragrance. Not a horrible thing for a cleanser since one has to wash it off, but can definitely be a red flag or sensitizing for others.
