SkinCeuticals Simply Clean is a refining gel cleanser that gently removes excess oils, makeup and debris, leaving the skin feeling perfectly pure and fresh. Formulated with botanical extracts, this facial cleanser works to soothe, nourish and hydrate, while hydroxy acids exfoliate, resulting in a smooth, supple texture and clear, radiant tone.

Works for KP!
If you are using other acid products on a daily basis, I don't know that I'd use this cleanser, I might use something more gentle. Not a creme cleanser, just like CeraVe or something. However, if you're not using a daily acid, go for it! Found it too drying for those doing daily acid use (I'm currently on azaleic, testing out Curology for a blog) but keeping this on the bay for KP on the backs of arms and for period days. Overall, very nice! Just pair accordingly. You do get a lot for the money.

Leaves A Lot To Be Desired
You will love this cleanser if you love Kiehls' Calendula Deep Cleansing Foam. They are very similar products in terms of texture, feel, foam. (I think that's due to a formulation with a hefty amount of glycerin and acrylates copolymer. I equate the feel to being like a plastic-y texture...) This product is nice in that a tiny bit on wet fingertips foams up a lot, but that's also a negative to me as well. It's very drying - even on my oily skin - as a result. There's also no discernible scent, which is nice because added fragrance is usually more of an irritant than anything. I was left feeling as though it took tugging on my skin to remove the layer of junk accumulated from sunscreen, sweat, and dirt over the course of the day. For a product that foams so much and still leaves me feeling as though I'm not thoroughly cleansed, not to mention my face feeling tight after every use, is a big downside to me. I'm left wondering how there are so many rave reviews, but everyone's skin is different. Maybe I should try double cleansing and see how that goes. This cleanser isn't what I was hoping for. :(

My new absolute favorite
It was looking like my beloved Purifyng Cleanser was being discontinued, so with some trepidation I bought Simply Clean to replace the cleanser I keep in the shower. It turns out I like it even better! It cleans like crazy without aggravating the eczema on either side of my chin (my biggest issue with the supercleansing products). I can hardly wait until the Purifying Cleanser I keep at the sink runs out so I can order more Simply Clean. I really am amazed at how good it is. My only concern is that the hard plastic bottle will crack if it falls off the shower shelf and leak. I did llike the old bottles better.

LOVE this cleanser. Just tested it today and it removed ALL my makeup. AND it make my skin feel hydrated after. I was floored! Been looking for YEARS for a good cleanser to replace my other.
