I used to use CE ferulic formula which is excellent. I have hormonal acne prone skin. I found this formula worked even better for me and I ended up having the glowy skin with fewer breakouts! A staple for me now!

My dermatologist gave this to me as a sample and I've finally purchased it for myself. It's a great vitamin C option for people who have acne-prone skin. It's light and helps me keep my skin soft and even in tone/texture. It takes a little longer to blend in to your skin than their other vitamin C products but it's not that big of a problem if you don't mind waiting a minute (and not worth removing a star). I hope Skinceuticals makes this into a gel in a pump bottle similar to the Phloretin CF. Repeat customer here, guarantee.

This is an excellent product for my skin-type - extremely oily, acne prone & sensitive. SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF has ceased any acne flare-ups (which is rare because I seem to breakout almost overnight), cleared my skin and it appears to be working on my large pores and dark spots. I've NEVER been able to find such a product. So happy that SkinCeuticals remembered to include those of us that continue to suffer from acne along that includes the ingredients that are so needed for our skin care. Thank you SkinCeuticals because I am always trying new skin care products that claim one thing and yet have no efficacy. Anything oily always breaks me out horribly and quickly; however, this has not been my experience using SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF - cleared my skin with no breakouts. And, I have suffered from acne since my teens. Now in my late 60's.

LOVE this vitamin C for acne prone skin. I have repurchased 3+ times. This product leaves my skin so dewy and glowy. I love the way it feels after applied. I personally apply to slightly damp skin for higher absorption. I use about 6 drops per morning - 2 drops per check, 1 drop forehead, 1 drop neck and this bottle lasts 2 months. I also feel this has helped with my hormonal chin acne. My skin type - early 30s; acne prone. Prefers a dewy natural glow. Considers myself very into skincare. Sees a derm 2x a year and an esthetician every other month. TLDR - yes, it's pricey, but lasts a long time, feels incredible, leaves skin dewy and glowy.

Best serum in my regimen
I love skinceuticals and this is my favorite product by them. In terms of vitamin c serum, I started with CE Ferulic based on its stellar reviews but then was told by my med spa that it’s formulated for drier skin. So I switched to Phloretin CF for a while, which I also really liked but it has 5% less vitamin C so I was so stoked when silymarin came out. So so perfect for my combination/oily skin and still gives me that high concentration of vitamin C. I’m on my fourth or fifth bottle and Recommend 10/10!!!!
