The only liquid sunblock I will use
Because I have very sensitive skin that breaks out at the slightest irritation or blockage, I learned to stay away from liquid sunblocks. In general they are probably the most heavy, non-breathable product you can put on your face. I usually use mineral powder sunscreen, but sometimes I'm worried it's not enough. I tried Sheer Physical UV Defense after doing extensive research. Application of this product is nice- it's very thin liquid as far as most sunscreens go, so it spreads easily and evenly on the face. The texture ends up being almost powdery and matte once you rub it on. Compared to Elta, another good sunblock I tried, the texture is lighter and easier to apply. Skinceuticals UV Defense does NOT make me feel like I put a heavy layer on my face and I can't breathe. It also didn't cause my skin to get oily. Having said that, it's not completely invisible- after a couple days of use, my skin did get clogged and resulted in small acne spots. I can't use this sunscreen every day, so I'm going to use it on days when I know I will be in the sun for long periods of time, when protection from brown spots and wrinkles trumps the possibility of getting a small breakout. I'm sure it's perfect for someone with less sensitive skin, and I will continue to go to this product when I need complete sun protection because it's the most sophisticated and non-irritating sunblock out there.

My holy grail sunblock
I do not leave the house without using this fantastic sunblock. My skin is very sensitive and I am allergic to chemical sunblocks which account for more than 90% of what's out there in the market. I've tried so many sunblocks and this is the best. It's not greasy, does not turn my face white and chalky, does not irritate my skin and most important, it's effective. People think I look young for my age due to my consistent use of this sunblock for my face. I always buy this from Dermstore because shipping is always free within the US. Hope they continue to stock this product and ship this free.

I really like this product. I have oily-combination skin and have always had a difficult time finding a sunscreen that would absorb and not make my skin shiny. I bought this based on the great reviews. I was disappointed. It is white in color and is thinner than other sunscreens but you have to rub it in quickly and thoroughly. It has an oily feel to it when you first apply it. It still would leave a white tint to my skin. It is easy to smooth over the skin and smells pleasant.
