My Favorite Sun Protection
After trying several Facial Sunscreens recently I am ready to declare my best experience - this product.Not surprising since I've used several SkinCeuticals products for years. The happy surprise with this sunscreen is that it is an all-purpose layer for me; very little else needed. Touch up the eyebrows, add eye-liner and lip-liner and i'm finished. At first I didn't love, but I've figured out how to use it
At first this spf would pill and just sit on top of my skin. Then I did some investigative work and found out that products that contain silica tend to pill. I was using a toner and a face cream that had silica in it. First I tried to let all my products settle into my skin before applying the spf, 20 min. That worked, but most mornings I don't really have time for that so I just started using a new cream that contained no silicates and stopped using the toner in the morning and switched just to using la roche posays thermal water spray. That worked really well and this spf really just melted into my skin without a white cast. As soon as I'm through this bottle I'm going to try out the tinted one.

Love this more than the tinted version!
My dermatologist recommended I use the Skinceuticals SPF, so I tried the tinted version first. I love it but it's a tad too radiant for my preference - I have more combination/oily skin so sometimes I felt like it made me look more oily. I ordered this a week ago thinking I would like the matte version better and it's PERFECT. I received a bottle that was expiring this month at first (and it felt kind of chalky when I applied it), but Dermstore quickly sent me a new bottle and it is the best sunscreen I've ever used. It's lightweight and sinks into the skin, does NOT leave a film or a white cast. I'm not really wearing makeup right now so TBC how it does under my foundation, but so far, no complaints!
