AOX serum 10

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have re-purchased AOX Serum 10 quite a few times. It does not irritate my skin and feel I am getting the benefit of Vitamin C. The price point as far as Skinceuticals  products is not as pricey as other products. I hope to try AOX 20 at some point. I just wish there was an easy way to recycle the glass bottle.

Great alternative

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve always had trouble finding a good vitamin c serum. Some are too harsh on my skin, some did nothing. I have already seen positive results I’m just a few weeks of regular use.  I read somewhere that the ingredients in this are similar to the brand’s infamous C E Ferulic, which my skin wouldn’t tolerate. Supposedly this is a less potent version. Don’t know if it’s all  true but the main ingredients are the same, I know my skin can tolerate it and I am already seeing some results. Win!!!  So far, I am planning on repurchasing.  The only thing I dislike about this is the consistency. Too watery. Hard to apply when it’s running everywhere. I feel like much is wasted on my fingers. I’m not too keen on the scent, like something was burned.

Eh...

Used for a week or so and overall felt like it left my skin with a sticky all day... probably going in the trash.

Oxidized

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is the second time I’ve ordered Skinceuticals vitamin C from Dermstore and it’s been oxidized. Don’t bother. Order straight from Skinceuticals — I’ve never gotten an oxidized batch from them.

Great for sensitive skin

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve struggled with other vitamin c serums but wanted to try SkinCeuticals. This product has been great. I receive compliments for how bright and bouncy my skin looks and I can tell that my complexion has been improving with consistent use. It’s easy to use and doesn’t irritate my skin.

Slowly but Surely

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

So maybe I am weird, but the CE Ferulic product broke me out. Nevertheless, I kept looking longingly at Vitamin C products, because I know they really help improve skin quality and when you reach your 50s, you want to make sure you're doing everything you can to help your skin. So I was pumped to see this product, which has a lesser concentration of Vitamin C and is less triggering for sensitive skin types. Upon first application, I immediately noticed a stinging sensation, but I've been rotating through various products on a daily basis and so this product only gets applied every 4 days. I think I've applied this product 3 times now, and while it doesn't sting, it does itch slightly for about 30 minutes following application. Still mulling it over. It's so pricy to have such a reaction...

Good for sensitive skin

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I tried the C.E. Ferulic a while ago and while at first I was in heaven, I had a bad reaction fairly quickly. I decided I could not use the combination of ingredients. Recently, I saw a post somewhere mentioning this serum as an alternative. It is great. Just as another reviewer posted, the 10% vitamin c is the sweet spot for me. I am also using it with the hydra b gel (?) this time.

Love

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Have loved this product. I first used it in my early 30s but didn’t re-purchase due to cost. Now that I’m in my mid-late 40s I really regret not using it regularly. I appreciate the price point on this C serum compared to other SkinCeuticals serums but just purchased CE Ferulic to see if it does an even better job at anti-aging. If not, I’ll come back to this serum for the price. Just. a word of caution: it did take a bit for my skin to get used to this and I don’t have sensitive skin.

Derm recommended

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

My husband and I both have this in our daily skincare routine at our dermatologist's recommendation. Over time, I do notice some improvement to my skin's texture, but I think the biggest benefit is that it helps stop the clock on aging.
