Ideal for those with sensitive skin types or those new to vitamin C antioxidant serum, this powerful serum combines 10% pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) and 0.2% ferulic acid to help neutralize damaging free radicals that contribute to environmental damage and premature signs of aging.

Tip: It is normal for vitamin C products to darken after opening due to air and light exposure. The formula will remain effective. Once opened, it is recommended to be used within 3 months of opening.

Great for sensitive skin!
I love this vitamin c serum. I have sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts. I was able to add this into my skincare routine without any problems. I really enjoy the texture, it absorbs pretty quickly so that I can get on with the rest of my skincare routine. The smell is a bit weird, as others have mentioned, but it dissipates quickly so it's not an issue for me (and I am pretty sensitive to smells). My skin just looks more luminous and healthy after using for several weeks. Hopefully with continued use I will see more fading of dark spots.

Great starter serum
I have sensitive skin and wanted to start with a lower concentration serum. I never experienced any skin sensitivities while using. When I started, I felt my complexion looked brighter but never saw any changes in my darker spots. I have just purchased a higher concentration so hoping to see more improvement. Side note- I always use an SPF and was also using a retinol.

Excellent, but...
The serum itself is excellent. However, I should have known better. This serum is for dry/sensitive skin. I have oily skin, and I have had excellent results with 15 AOX and 20 AOX, With this one the results were barely visible. I know if has nothing to do with the quality of the product. I am going back to using 20 AOX. Too bad 15 AOX got discontinued.

Poor consistency/texture
I waste product because the consistency is so thin, like water. I try applying a few drops with the dropper to my face and it runs off immediately before I can rub it in. Silly they didn't thicken up the consistency for application. Can't speak to results yet, I may try to return it.

Wanted to love this
Now looking at the photo, I realize that maybe my serum was expired. The serum itself was a brown color when I received it - not clear as shown. Nonetheless, I used the product and within a month developed deep cystic acne along my chin. I continued using for another month because I wasn't positive that is what caused it. After two and a half months of using it, the deep painful cystic acne continued so I decided to cut EVERYTHING out of my skin routine and bring each back one by one to figure out what was causing the acne. I had a feeling it was this product due to the 10% vitamin C. I've used stronger vitamin C in the past which caused cystic acne, but I figured this one wouldn't be as harsh. I never brought the Serum 10 AOX back into my skin routine and have not developed any cystic acne since removing it. Unfortunately my combination-acne prone skin is too sensitive and this was a miss. -- I also suggest making sure your serum is a clear color, not a brown tone. I should have paid closer attention to this when I opened it. It also had a weird scent, smelled almost like bacon.

Great for Sensitive Skin
I'm about halfway through my first bottle of this product. I think it and the other two Skin Ceuticals products that I am using are really helping my sensitive, dry, aging skin. It absorbs quickly, and I only need two drops. Most people think I'm 10-15 years younger than I am. If you have sensitive, dry skin, give it a try.

Great product, packaging could be better
This, in combination with other skinceuticals products, seems to be improving my skin, and within a couple of weeks. I have been trying a few things out, but the winning combos have been (morning) 10 AOX, emollience and AGE eye cream, (evening) retinol or the retexturing activator with the triple lipid cream and AGE eye. I have been sampling the HA activator and will likely buy a full size of that for both AM and PM. (I also tone with Biologique Recherche P50 1970, which I LOVE, as well as spot correct blemishes with a BR placenta serum, which seems to be working, so long as I forget it is pig placenta.) The smell doesn't bother me, it goes on nicely, I just have a very small issue with the dropper. I feel I waste product and it lets in too much air. A pump might be an improvement. I'll definitely buy again, though probably bump up to the 15 AOX next time.
