In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. Refine your skin texture
Each time I use this product I see results. My skin texture is refined, my lines less noticeable and my pores shrink. This is my third tube.

Worth it
Work up to the strength slowly. If not it might be too strong. In using this for over a year I have zero wrinkles and no peeling/sensitivity

Best Retinol
I’ve tried numerous Retinol products. SkinCeuticals is the best by far. When I use this consistently my hyperpigmentation spots fade significantly. I have fair, freckled skin and have not had any irritation.

Still too early to decide
I started using the SkinCeuticals Retinol .5 to prep my skin like the instructions say. I recently purchased the 1.0. It is still too early to decide whether I see a difference. It does make my skin sensitive so I can't use it every night or else I look like I have sunburns peeling all over my face.

Excellent retinol cream
I have tried many retinol treatments and this one is easily the most effective and simple to use. I have been applying it for about a month and I can see a clear improvement on fine lines, my 11’s, and some forehead wrinkles that other retinols of the same strength haven’t touched. If you want serious results- give this one a try!

BEST RETINOL on the market without prescription
I've been use Skinceuticals Retinol 1.0 for over 10 years. In the beginning I started with 0.5 once a month . Then I used it it 2x a month for a year. Then I switched to 1.0 strength and use it every 2 weeks. I use Cerave PM moisturizer first - and then I apply the 1.0 retinol over it to reduce redness of my sensitive skin. The next day I use rich moisturizer Vichy Aqualia Thermal rich cream to replace the peeling with moisture until the peeled skin is gone (4 days). I also use Elta MD clear SPF 46 every day. You have to use SPF if you use retinol products. Another product I use every day is Good Genes that is a MILD exfoliant. Your skin will glow. The Skinceuticals Retinol is a DEEP exfoliant (2x a month) that peels the top layer off. After you use retinol 1.0 you have to wait at least 4 days before you use Good Genes. The skin needs to heal first and then you can continue using Good Genes. Using both products makes a huge difference. I have not used foundation for the past 20 years because my skin is bright and radiant and all I need is a blush. Love Skinceutical 1.0 and highly recommend this product. Best product for your money without prescription! :-)

Meh
This is nice, but I probably should’ve started with a lower strength. I’ve been using it 1-2 times a week and still wake up with peeling, and it beads up under moisturizer.

Love the Product but Tube is Horrible & Wasteful
This is a high quality retinol that many derms recommended. I have been using it for a couple years, and it evens out skin tone and is super strength, so you must put moisturizer over it or your skin will peel. The tube is beyond bad. Extra product seeps out and after a few weeks the sides rip exposing the retinol to air and the product comes out from the sides! It's not cheap so they need to do better!

Great 1.0% Retinol
Like this Retinol a lot as it goes on smoothly and layers well with other products without product beading or flaking my skin
