In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.
As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

Like the extra 'strength'
I have tried the .5 before but felt I needed/my skin could tolerate the greater percentage. I feel this product if affective without being overly drying. Like the creaminess and ease of application.

Pump no function
Yes I love the product, alternate days between this and the green stuff but the pump did not work on this one, I knew that could happen as previous reviews list but I just pulled the top off and use it like that, wish they would design another pump for dispensing!

Heed the warning!
So I thought by now the little dispensing problem would be taken care of but it wasn't. I tried and tried but could not get the product out of the container. The pump mechanism did not work. The good news is that Dermstore sent me an envelope and paid for me to ship it back to them and I ordered a different brand which I'm happy to report dispenses without incident.

Retinol is Better Than Botox
This SkinCeuticals Retinol product was touted on Dr. Oz's show so I decided to give it a try. The packaging emphatically states that Retinol is strong and to use it sparingly. I used the product 2 nights in a row and my skin became dry immediately so I have cut back to 3 times a week and so far, combined with SkinCeuticals cream for dry skin/fine lines, there is a great improvement in the texture of my skin and facial lines are less obvious. It's only been about 3 weeks since I've used the product and I am extremely pleased with the results.

If you can get the pump to dispense the product, you will be pleased with what you see.
The pump dispenser is extremely difficult to get going. My first one (using the .5% retinol solution) I had to return. Replacement took at least 40 pumps to dispense product, but now works fine. Product itself is excellent. Nice texture, no scent, and it does the job on your skin.

can't get the cream out even after 200 pumps :(
I would like to try this cream but unfortunately bottle i received today wasn't working, i have been trying to pump the cream out for past fifteen mins but no luck tomorrow i'll call the Dermstore so they can ship me new one and take this one back.

Gentle cream with great results
Overall, I like this product. It is the strongest retinol cream you can get over-the-counter, without a prescription. I use it only every other day and don't put it around my mouth, as that is where I tend to peel more - and it does make your skin peel. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. Sometimes, you have to pump the bottle dozens of times for anything to come out.
