In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.
As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

great retinol product
I used this product as my introduction to retinols. I used it every other day at first and then slowly moved to every day. This is great to start before using a prescription retinol. Just start slow to build your tolerance.

I loved the Skinmedica Retinol but when I finished the bottle, opted to try this one out. Seems very similar so far except I dislike the packaging as the other one pumped out the same amount for every night and with this tube, you're left guessing how much. Could be seen as a positive by others but it's a negative for me.

This is a great retinol product for uneven skin tone, fine lines & wrinkles, & dark spots. If you're nervous about incorporating a retinol into your skincare regimen start with a lower concentration a few nights a week then build up to 1%. As with any skincare product, give it some time. Results show with consistent use. Since using this product, my aesthetician said she never saw my skin look so good!

Works but not as moisturizing
First the pros: 1% retinol at a fair price. Does indeed work well. This has incorrect ingredient list on Dermstore as of the day this review was written. I bought this thinking it had shea butter( great emollient) and rose hip oil or rosa canina on the label, neither of these are there. See photo below.For me this makes it unpleasant to use as the texture is slightly grittier than obagi's version which I have tried in the .5% strength. I tried skinceuticles thinking it would have similar feel to Obagi and it does not its filled with lots of cones and polymers which I consider to be cheap fillers. Bisabolol is the only ingredient besides retinol that is of benefit in this formulation. Obagi's formulation is far more therapeutic and expensive but still cheaper than this, so thats another star off. Bottom line good but not great. On to skin medicas version to see how it stacks up against this and Obagi.

I absolutely love this product. It might seem a little harsh at first, but try to use it less often and you will definitely see results.
