In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.
As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

Savior for Residual Cystic Acne
My entire skin care routine is based on this product. I want to clear congestion to establish an even base for makeup application. Even better, feel more confident going without makeup. This product did just that and more. Cystic acne scars are less noticeable and, bonus, lines and wrinkles have significantly diminished. Acclimated with two .5 tubes and followed directions on increased use. Never had a full breakout with most noticeable purge occurring after the jump to 1.0. Wait 30 minutes for product to fully absorb prior to applying moisture. Biggest issue was the random days of extreme dryness, redness, flakiness and/or patchiness. No makeup on those days and only repetitive applications of Avene Skin Recovery Cream throughout the day worked to calm down skin. Usually didn't last more than 1 day. Also exercised extreme caution with sun exposure. Skin Synopsis Just turned 40. Two Accutane cycles for cystic acne ages 19 and 36. Residual congestion from cystic acne, redness and discoloration from scarring of various depths that make skin uneven. Combination oily to dry, especially around the nose. Blackheads/large pores. Moisture to oil ratio makes makeup challenging. Can be volatile due to stress and weather. May violently reject new products.

Denatured Alcohol alert!
The ingredient list for this product on the Dermatore site is wrong and DOES NOT match the ingredient list on the box. This will not dry you out in the normal way retinol does, this will DAMAGE your skin and dry it out from the DENATURED ALCOHOL that is very high up on the ingredient list. No one should ever ever use any product containing denatured alcohol. It's been 10 days since I used this product and my skin is still recovering.

Drying start slow
Too early to say on how well it works but warning those to start slow. I started with just a spot test got a little dry. Waited another day and applied in full. Days later and my face is still dry and flaking. Going to continue with using but slowing until my skin can handle.

Fingers Crossed
The purge is real. I'm in my second week. My normal breakout spots (chin, upper lip, jaw line) are LITTERED with white heads. I honestly just counted 33 visible white heads. Last week the flakes, redness and burn came but are no longer an issue this week. All that being said, I am trying not to panic. The rest of my face where I typically do not break out IS GLOWING. I didn't believe I was going to purge because I had been using Rodan + Fields reverse with Retinol for the last few years. Apparently this Retinol is MUCH stronger. I'll update my review in a few weeks.
