In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.

I have acne prone fair skin. I applied a moderate amount before bedtime, it took about 1.5days for my skin to start peeling very gently. Once I put moisturizer, peeled skin wasnt visible. After 2 days, my face felt smoother and visibly more radiant. I am using this every 4 days so far. I will continue using until my skin can tolerate every day or every other. I like this SkinCeuticals Retinol! It does make my skin peel sometimes but of course thats normal I do think it makes my skin look better when I use it Im not too sure if its helping with my acne I think it might be hormones causing my cystic acne tho so idk if anything will help that besides getting my levels checked and getting medication or whatever but I will keep using this retinol for anti aging Im almost 30 now so Im just mainly trying to stop it before it starts haha This is the second tube of this retinol that I have bought I picked this kind cuz it had the best reviews online The first one I got of this I got from Skinmedix and it was cheaper I was going to order from there again but I seen where they arent one of the approved sellers of this SkinCeuticals brand so I was scared the one I had bought was a fake or not as good I came here cuz it was on the list of approved sellers After getting this one from Dermstore I do think the Skinmedix one was legit also cuz it looked the same and seemed like it affects my skin the same as this one But it is cool that you get points thru this website towards other items so I may continue to order it from Dermstore instead It is kinda expensive but you only need a little so it will last for a while Overall Im happy with it and Im going to keep using it!

This product is extremely expensive but less expensive than other retinol products. Despite the price, I would still highly recommend this. I have sensitive skin and went straight for this dosage rather than getting the one below this. I just followed the instructions and used it a few times a week, then gradually increased to every other night and now I use this nightly. It works so good that sometimes I skip it at night because I don't feel like I need it. When a pimple pops up, this helps decrease the size significantly. This has helped my skin texture look really supple and healthy. It is also showing improvement in hyperpigmentation. Like with all retinol products, you must be careful during the day and use spf because this makes your skin sensitive. I forgot to use spf one cloudy afternoon and although I did not burn, you can tell I had redness in my face. Also, follow the directions with the amount of usage. A little goes a long way. You'll feel like half your face did not get any, but this is not a cream, it's a medication, so you don't have to douse your face in it because it communicates with each other and that's how it works! Me and my boyfriend both use this and we are really pleased with this product.
