In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.
As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

Too soon to determine overall results. I have been using the product for approximately two weeks. I am cautious and only use twice a week. As any quality Retinol product will do, it will dry and peel skin with few applications which is why I limit use. No fragrance; smooth texture. It is a longer term process to see overall positive results. Be patient.

Over the winter I was suffering from two very rough dry patches for 2 weeks. I tried the Inkey List Retinol ($9.99) and I can tell that using a cheap retinol is exactly what you pay for. I applied Inkey List Retinol to my dry patches. I applied Elemis marine oil. I applied the cult favorite Weleda's Skin Food. I had to honestly keep applying Skin Food to my dry patches multiple times throughout the day and it never quite made those patches the same texture as the rest of my face. I finally bit the bullet and bought the maximum strength retinol. I applied it to my dry patches and I swear OVERNIGHT my dry patches finally became the same texture as the rest of my skin!!! This retinol will transform the texture of your skin by sloughing off all the dead skin. I'm super excited and will purchase again.

I don't use many products but when I do...
I am 54, I always had great skin but since I STILL haven't hit menopause, my hormones do awful things to my face. I have cystic acne where I never had a problem before. I love Skinceuticals, to start with. I have spent money trying different brands and this one is my absolute holy grail. This controls my acne and oil beautifully. I use it every night, sometimes layered with their Emollience (a different review altogether) because now I can and have to use moisturizers to balance things out. Combined with a few diet tweaks, I like my skin again. No fragrance, a tube will last a long time (remember, I use daily and I reorder every 10 or 12 weeks).
