In the evening, apply 4‐5 drops to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with a Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.
Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.
As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

Amazing Results
I've used this retinol for almost three weeks and I can already see a massive improvement in my skin. My face is smoother and brighter. I also have fewer issues with hyperpigmentation and redness. I did not follow instructions and started using it every night, as opposed to twice a week. Big mistake - my skin was a total wreck for a few days with peeling, itching and it was so parched. However, I read about the buffering technique, where you later on a thick moisturizer and then the retinol on top. The results are still effective and it made a huge difference in my tolerance for the retinol. For reference, I use the CeraVe moisturizing cream with hyaluronic acid. But my goal is to get to just the retinol at night. You may also want to consider the .3 or .5 versions to start as well. But overall, I'm extremely pleased with this retinol.

Great retinol to improve discoloration
I love this product! The retinol 1.0 is strong so I don't recommend for everyday use. I spot treat areas of discoloration from sun damage, age spots, breakout scars on my face. I apply at night every other day . A little goes a long way. Your skin will start to peel in the treated area after a few days. Make sure to exfoliate the dead skin flakes and apply the hydrating B5 gel or moisturizer with spf.

Fantastic Retinol, but STRONG!
It's strong so start out with a lower concentration and work up to this. I mixed it with my moisturizer to start out. After a month I stopped mixing with the moisturizer. I also recommend using the Triple Lipid Restore 242 after applying as I feel that it really helps reduce the adjustment period when increasing strength with a retinol product.
