Gentle and effective
I used Skinceuticals Retinol 0.5 for approximately one year. I have sensitive skin that is prone to redness, so I was apprehensive about moving to a higher retinol. I have had no issues with sensitivity since moving up.

Hopeful
I’ve been told by my dermatologist that retinol should be a part of my daily routine, but it takes quite some time to see visible results. I’ve started using each evening, no negative side effects and hopeful for good results.

Strong
This is the absolute strongest retinol I have ever used. I would NOT use this if your skin is not very used to retinol. And even if it is, I’d still ease into this product. I use it so sparingly I’ve had this product forever and am not even close to being finished with the tube. If you’re looking for a strong retinol, I recommend

Very strong retinol
Very potent, can only use a little and work yourself up. Otherwise makes skin very dry. Good retinol though.

SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0
As a young women, I used to bake in the sun. In those days having a gorgeous tan was more important than taking care of my skin. Consequently, now that I will be turning 65 in January, I have developed dark spots on my face. I have been using this product for a short time (just two weeks), since I already been using a drug store retinol product, my skin was conditioned to retinol. A little goes a long way, which is comforting since the product is pricey. But the old adage is true, "you get what you pay for". It's way to soon to see a difference in my dark spots, but already notice a difference in the way my skin feels, soft and brighter. Along with my nightly moisturizer, it has become part of my regular routine. I would recommend this product.

Strong retinol
I have been using prescribed retinol from my doctor for many years. I thought he gave me a pretty strong Rx. This is much stronger. I can’t use it more than 2x a week, but I can see that it is making a difference in my wrinkles. You need to work up to this strength otherwise your skin will be very irritated.

Very strong
I found this to be pretty irritating, even when using all the tricks like using it only a couple times a week, applying a barrier layer first, etc. I switched to a prescription tret and was shocked that this was much less irritating for my skin. However, I think this is a good product for the right skin type. Perhaps try starting with one of the lower strength formulations before you go for this one.

Very good Retinol
I love this retinol. I have used retinol in the past and heard great things about it, so I decided to try this brand and I like it a lot. You have to build up your skin to get use to it. Start out slow to maybe 1x a week, if your skin can handle it, then 2x a week. I don't use it every day, but even with that, I have noticed my skin looking better because I included this into my skin treatment. I do use a moisturizer over it so it doesn't dry up my skin. Retinol drys out my skin, so I make sure I put lots of moisturizer.
