not yet for sensitive skin
I tried the .5, but it was a little bit too rough for my sensitive skin. I downgraded to the .3 and it's perfect. After using the .3 enough I'd like to build up to the .5, but not there yet.

Fabulous and Potent
The Skinceuticals retinol is potent, no joke! Tread lightly! I picked the 0.5% since I've been using retinol in my skincare routine for ages and thought I've have no problem switching to Skinceuticals retinol. Was I wrong! I started applying every other night, trying to work up to 2-3 nights in a row during my first two weeks of use. My face molted like a snake. Start slowly with this, and find a schedule your skin will tolerate. Mine is 3x a week, and now that my skin has adapted everything is great. Pores are much smaller, and I don't break out as often. I'm not aiming for every night and certainly not working my way up to 1% anymore. :) A tube lasts about 5-6 months at this rate.

Potent, but results!
You definitely have to play the long game with retinol, but after several months of use, I am seeing some results with this. But don't let the "0.5%" fool you into thinking that this isn't a potent product; I'd been using another brand's 1% retinol for about a year before trying this-and STILL had to dilute this with a moisturizer to minimize dryness and get the best results. A bit pricey, but given the medical grade strength and results, and the fact that it will last me at least 6 months, I am not having any buyers remorse about this.

Strong but works
This product is strong so use just a tiny bit every other night and work your way up. It will make you dry and peely if you aren't careful but that also means it's working! Skinceuticals will forever be my go to brand. I love their products!

Needed this a long time ago!
I kick myself for not adding this to my routine earlier. I noticed a difference so quickly and my face adjusted very easily. I have had so many complaints to my skin since using this and I will never go back. Worth it!

Retinol 0.5
I started using Skinceutical Retinol 0.3 eight months ago and I really liked it. Thought I upgrade to 0.5, it's recommended to start with lower strength. I've tried other retinol brand but always come back to Skinceutical. This cream doe not irrational my skin (T-zone oily).

Have used for many years
My aesthetician recommended this. She advised that I have very "strong" skin. I use this 2 nites in a row and have quite a bit of peeling. I exfoliate and then after about 4 days... I have smoother skin. This is in combination with a daily 7 step skin treatment... and every day.... sunscreen.

Definitely works
So , i tried retinol for the first time. I definitely can say that it's a strong product. Started burning and peeling after second day. It's not comfortable, but once the peeling is done, you can see the difference. Your skin becomes smoother. You can definitely get rid of wrinkles with this product .

Skinceuticals Retinol .05+Refining Night Cream
This is by far my favorite Retinol Cream, the only one I can use of this strength that doesn't irritate my skin. It is also highly recommended by my dermatologist!
