Good Start

This is my first retinol, and I've noticed that my skin is clearer and the texture is smoother in the morning.

A good stater retinol

I started with this strength to get my skin used to retinol. I started very slowly working my way up to nightly application. I definitely notice a difference in my skin but I think I need to switch to a higher strength to see better results. I'm turning 40 in a few days so need to ramp up my anti-aging routine.

Great Product!

This was an excellent retinol for first timers! It is at a low enough level it to not make my skin completely break out/irritated. However it is still effective enough to see notable difference. I have been using this product since December and have absolutely seen improvement in the fine lines I have.

Love it! Definitely working!

I’m on my 2nd tube of the .3 retinol. I love it. I don’t have sensitive skin but I do have to use this sparingly. I have worked my way up to being able to use it 4 nights a week. It definitely seems to be making my skin surface smoother and brighter. I think it’s reducing some wrinkles too.

great beginner retinol

This was a great retinol to start with! I experienced some redness and burning initially starting this product because I was using too much too quickly. Follow the directions - start by applying 2x/week and work your way up to every might. Using my moisturizer first then applying this helped with dryness and irritation, especially at the beginning. Make sure to wear sunscreen every day!

Not what I was looking for

Thought this would be a little stronger than Drunk Elephant retinol - I was wrong

So far so good

My skin was dry and peeling the first 6 uses or so (which is normal when you first start using retinols) but since that stopped, it has been great.

Great for first time retinol users

I have sensitive, fair skin and am new to using retinol, so this lower concentration option is perfect! It did not irritate my skin!

Just ok

I’ve used tretinoin cream in the past, and that is the most potent prescription retinol. I decided to try this since it has been years since I used tretinoin. I started off by using moisturizer first, waiting 30 minutes then apply the skinceuticals and moisturizer after. I had zero redness, dryness. After 2 weeks I bumped it up to 5 nights a week and only moisturizer after , still zero redness or dryness. My skin looked smoother, and the few spots of hormonal acne I get on my chin monthly, had lessend. Other than that, I didn’t see any major changes to my skin. I think it’s a great starter retinol for someone who has never tried any form before. But, for me, I switched to the highest percentage Skinceuticals makes, and that really did everything it claimed.
