Powered by encapsulated retinol and botanical extracts, this nighttime formula exfoliates skin to reduce the appearance of blemishes while also alleviating irritation and inflammation. Once skin is tolerated, use it at least three times a week for optimal results.

good place to start
been using every night and am new to retinol products. so far this one is good. not too harsh and a good place to start for people adding in a retinol. haven't seen much flaking yet but definitely a little harsh for my neck and chest but my skin is also very sensitive. when its gone i will try the .5 formula.

Great product for sensitive skin!
I have acne prone skin with scarring, and this product really improved my skin overall. I apply a thin layer before bed all over my cheeks and forehead, and it's helped clear up these acne spots and scars!

Skinceuticals Retinol 0.3%
Have added this to my skin care regimen using it twice a week at night. I have combined it with the Retexturing Activator and can really see the difference and improvement in my 65+ aging skin. Been using Skinceuticals for about 6 months and will not use anything else! This is the first skin care product that has made a remarkable difference in my skin. Love this brand!

good for a non-RX
This is probably the best non-RX retinol cream. Non irritating, not stinky, doesn't stain pillows. If you want the big guns - get an RX from your doc, but this is a great OTC option.

Great intro into Retinol
I have dry skin. I did not think a retinol could be introduced into my routine, although at 32- it's time. Bought this on a whim and I LOVE it. I'll keep using the lowest .3 retinol as long as I can. At just a few times a week, it doesn't bother my skin and I see a fresh face. Plus, I use heavy creams, serums, and moisturizers making it to where I actually can handle retinol.

Pretty good
I've gone through 3 or 4 tubes now. It seems to work (and is definitely not irritating). Rentinol/retin A is a weird one b/c it takes long to work but I assume that some of the clarity and smoothness is thanks to religious use. I also use Skinceuticals cleanser and the C serum.

Burned my skin
It burned my skin. No, it didn't make my skin feel like "it was burning." No. It BURNED it bright red. I've used Retinol aplenty, and I've never had any reactions to skincare. Decided to try this one from Skinceuticals because I (used to) trust the brand so much (it's owned by L'Oreal). Massive mistake. Returned.

Definitely works
I've been so hesitant to start a retinol even though I know how great they are, just because of the purging / getting used to it process. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this. After 1 month my forehead went from slightly breakout prone and a little bumpy, to completely smooth. It took a few weeks for my pores to clear out and there was minor irritation, but it was so worth it.
