Silky smooth

Disappointing
I was expecting big results as SkinCeuticals is a brand used in med spas. However, I have used this a number of times so far and can't discern a difference in skin texture. So, I'm not sure what, if anything, this Retexturing Activator is doing. Additionally it has a tacky texture which wouldn't be an issue if I saw it was actually doing something.

Good for acne prone skin with damaged moisture barrier
I had a breakout at the same time my moisture barrier was damaged from over exfoliating so I had to back off of all the harsh acne products I normally use. My breakout was getting worse but anytime I would use any AHA/BHA it would make my skin very red and dry. I bought the Retexturing activator because it claims to do everything I need for acne prone skin with a damaged moisture barrier, hydrates and gently exfoliates. I used this product expecting it to sting but it's very gentle and soothing. I still have skin issues after using it my breakouts are not as bad and my skin is not as red and sensitive. It's not the cure-all but I'm glad to have it in my arsenal.
