Very potent
This stuff is strong. When worn as my first layer, I develop a burning feeling and by the end of the day my pores look extra oily like they've been irritated into overproducing oil. I get better results layering it over my moisturizer at night, and then it does make my skin extra soft and glowy. For sensitive skin I would use this only a couple times a week , especially as I'm already using a glycolic face wash and a retinol.

I love everything Skinceuticals makes. This treatment really does work. I have acne prone skin and just sensitive skin in general, and this product rejuvenates my skin. My face becomes brighter, less oily, and my acne scaring on my cheeks diminishes. It brings life back to your skin! I highly recommend this product.

No comparison to other brandws
I've been using this product for 10 years. Although I periodically have tried other "retexturing" products", none compare to Skin Ceuticals Retexturing Activator. Results are noticeable within a WEEK. Smoother skin and smaller pores. No sense trying other brands...this is THE ONE.

I have been using the retexturizing activator for about a month now and I love this serum! It is light weight and absorbs quickly. It is very hydrating and I use it in place of a thick moisturizer in the mornings. Make up applies evenly once you allow the serum to absorb completely. Will continue to purchase.

Surprisingly Hydrating
I have very sensitive, combination-dry skin which can definitely be temperamental. I've been using this as my nighttime serum, alone, without any other product on top. It is very hydrating but I have not really noticed any of the exfoliating benefits it claims to have. I've used this product for several week so perhaps I need a bit more time to see the result. Overall it is a very nice hydrating serum that sinks in within seconds and does not leave any sticky/oily feelings on your skin.

I love Skinceutical products and this is lovely too. I use their moisturizers regularly but don't buy the more expensive serums and oils as often because of the pricing. But when there's a sale i definitely do it cos I think they work

After I use Skin Ceuticals 0.2 Retinol, I use the Retexturing Activator and you can feel something happening beneath your skin, you know that it is working. This was recommended by my dermatologist to use before my Tazorac at night, believe it or not, and it seems to have done a great job of actually helping me to better tolerate the Tazorac. *along with moisturizer I'm on my third bottle and couldn't be happier with it. It's a light hydrating gel-serum that is super glide-y and a little goes a pretty long way. I get compliments on my skin all the time now.
