Exfoliating and hydrating

I adore this serum. I struggle with acne and dry skin. My skin absolutely loves this serum. It's gentle and doesn't make my skin flake or feel dry. Helps control blemishes and diminish the appearance of scars. I always get nervous layering acids but this does not irritate my skin. I use it twice a day (in the morning after applying Phloretin CF and in the evening after cleansing and toning).

Has the effect plateaued halfway through the first bottle?

I liked this product very much at first. My skin had a few habitually clogged areas too sensitive to scrub with a grainy exfoliator. This former was a bit too provocative to my extremely reactive skin to use daily, or even every other day, but applied a couple of times a week, it worked a treat. Perhaps because my skin grew healthier, it seemed to lose its effectiveness after a couple of months. Now, I use it only when the chronic areas could do with a little help. Where I use it more often: age spots on my arms. It’s a great lead-in to moisturizer.
