I received a good sized sample of this and used it every night for a week. While it has a lovely silky texture, I didn't notice any difference in my skin after a week. It's too pricey for me to consider buying without noticeable results!

I was surprised by the texture: it's occlusive. I know that some people like to seal in moisture with petroleum jelly, but that would never work for me because I would break out like crazy. The SkinCeuticals Resveratrol BE has that occlusive property but it feels light and not at all goopy. Perhaps its occlusive property will be too much for me in the summertime, but it's wonderful right now, when the air is cold and dry. And that's not even the real draw here! I'm counting on these ingredients - not just the resveratrol but also the niacinamide - to work their long-term magic. On the downside, it's very expensive. I have faith that SkinCeuticals uses high-quality ingredients, but if it turns out that I'm wrong, I will be sad to have invested so much.

Caused burning and redness
I don't consider my skin sensitive. However, I've always stayed away from (the bad) alcohol, because it's extremely harsh for the face. This was an expensive purchase, a splurge. I was excited to add it to my nightly regimen. Most of what I use is Skinceuticals, adding this,a bonus. From the very beginning, I've had burning and redness. It's new, I told myself. After the week had ended, and my face is still burning and red when I apply this, I thought maybe it doesn't play well with Skinsceuticals retinol. So I do a search. It has alcohol denat in it. I expect so much better from a company like Skinsceuticals. I won't finish this very expensive bottle. My face can't handle it. Why do cosmetic companies continue to put such harsh chemicals in their products? If you like your skin, stay away from this.

Favorite SkinCeutical Product
I use a lot of the SkinCeutical products and this one is my favorite. I put it on right after my shower at night and then follow with their night cream. This keeps my skin soft and firm. Since using this, I haven't noticed any new fine lines appearing on my face.

Pros: thick nightime serum and goes on smooth. It blends and aborbs well. A little goes a long way. Provides good hydration. I like that its nearly fragrance-free. Cons: It is more of a preventative care product because it doesn't seem to help with existing fine lines but I can see how it will help prevent new lines. It's so pricey for an anti aging product that doesn't do much correction. Definitely a high quality product, but not sure if its worth the price.

i think this is doing a good job... I don't know if it's worth the price yet, it's only been 2 weeks... I will post a follow up after another couple of weeks.. Right now I don't think I'd re purchase because the cost is super high and I don't see the benefits that would require me to spend over $100 bucks!
