This cleansing gel delivers mild foaming action to refine a dull and uneven complexion while replenishing hydration leaving skin feeling refreshed, renewed, and conditioned.
Key Ingredients:

- Glycerin: powerful humectant possesses water-binding properties that help deliver intense hydration
Key Benefits:
- Foaming lather dissolves dirt and oil on your skin's surface for a fresh feeling
- Glycolic acid provides gentle exfoliation to improve skin tone and texture
- Ph balanced so it cleanses without stripping the barrier
- Glycerin provides a light moisture which softens and smooths skin

New formula - watery - not as effective
It seems like they changed the formula after being out of stock for months. Very disappointed in this .

Decent cleanser, but drying —and wasn’t it supposed to reduce acne?
This cleanser is definitely overhyped for what it does. It over-dries the skin, especially if used in combination with any other acne treatment, causing a backlash in the skin, perpetuating the breakout cycle. (What those of us who were teenagers in the 80s called “being Clinique’s.”) That’s really a problem for those of us with sensitive skin. It’s not so bad if used only once per day, though, permitting the use of other products the other time. Why on earth, though, should a reasonable person who just wants to wash her face have to buy two different cleansers?

Quality
I never used to look forward to washing my face but this has changed that. It’s gentle but effective. I really do feel clean after and it doesn’t dry me out. I use every morning

Squeaky Clean
This cleanser gives me a gentle clean each and every morning. Easy foaming and does not leave my skin dried out. Will buy again

Very gentle cleanser
This is a very gentle cleanser that does not irritate my mature sensitive skin. I have a problem with dryness and this cleanser adds hydration to my skin without dryness. I also like the foaming of this cleanser that seems to clean my skin well.

Great for sensitive skin
I started using the purifying cleanser after using Cetaphil for years. I was looking for something that cleaned my skin without irritation and removed makeup well. I love the way SC Purifying Cleanser makes my skin feel clean without drying. I also love that it gives a little lather as well. My skin is mature and keeps changing. ..probably because my hormones keep fluctuating. With my skin getting irritated very easily and I've found that most of the Skin Ceuticals products work best on my mature sensitive skin.

Good daily cleanser…
The cleanser worked well to clean my skin after workouts and it removed my tinted sunscreen well (I don’t wear makeup), but I didn’t see any impact on my uneven skin tone or breakouts. For people with mild skin issues, this would be a good cleanser. I have combination skin and this was not overly drying.

Great everyday cleanser
Looks nice on your sink, doesn’t smell overpowering and gets the job done. You won’t feel tight or stripped afterwards.

Weird consistency
I normally love this brand but the consistency of this product is strange. It’s not quite an oil and not quite a cleanser. I didn’t have a bad reaction but I also don’t feel like it did a great job cleansing.

Waste of Money
This is a no for me. It falls flat compared to other fantastic Skinceutical products I've used (C.E Ferulic, H.A Intensifier, etc). I bought it because the Simply Clean gel appears to be perpetually out of stock. This product is not good at all. It's watery and doesn't give a deep cleanse like Simply Clean gel. Unfortunately, I bought 3 bottles. After trying out the first bottle, I've abandoned the 2 unopened bottles and gone for another brand of cleanser (The Ordinary). Simply Clean gel was my all time favourite cleanser (and I've tried out over 20 brands since my teenage years till now that I'm over 40) but I don't understand why it's not back in stock for almost 2 years now.
