SkinCeuticals Purifying Cleanser combines glycolic acid and glycerin to simultaneously remove impurities and hydrate the skin. This cleansing gel delivers mild foaming action to refine a dull and uneven complexion while replenishing hydration leaving skin feeling refreshed, renewed, and conditioned.

- Glycolic Acid: derived from sugar cane, this alpha-hydroxy acid helps facilitate skin’s natural exfoliation while eliminating dead skin cell buildup to improve the appearance of the skin’s tone and texture

Terrible Breakout
I bought this cleanser for the first time ever as I wanted to try something new out. Within two days of using it, I broke out terribly and I NEVER get acne (am a middle aged woman). Nothing else in my skincare routine was different, except using this cleanser. I stopped using it and it has taken a good week or so, but my skin is finally clearing up. Sadly, I now have a full bottle of this and will not be using anymore.

Does not clean
I use many products from SkinCeuticals. However, this cleanser is disappointing. It does not remove my makeup - as seen by my towels! No matter how much product I use and regardless of the lather, it fails to remove my make up and cleanse my face.
