Red skin improvement
I have sensitive skin that is prone to red splotchy spots with the slightest irritation (i.e. scratching my face, wearing a mask too long). I've been using this product for about 2.5 weeks now (2-3x per week). I'm making slow but good progress for that timeframe. My skin is definitely not as red as before but it's not a 100% miracle worker (to be fair, I don't think any product is). I would recommend this product if you have the money to splurge but it's not an absolute skin product essential/staple to have.

Calming but no hydration
This mask instantly reduces redness and calms the skin. I thought it would also provide a boost in hydration but its minimal. I have used it as a mask and also slept in it overnight under my night cream. It feels like I am putting aloe vera in my face... honestly, aloe vera may have done the same job.

If I were stuck on a desert island...
And could only take one item, it would be this masque. In the last year since I first discovered it, I have gone through 5 jars. It lasts a while, but I use it almost every single day. It's also amazing for sunburns. I got a terrible burn last summer and rubbed this on... the next day my burn was almost completely gone. When my niece burned her face after tripping while carrying hot, melted cheese this masque literally saved her skin. This product is so amazing. A tip I got from my esthetician - don't completely rinse it off. Take a wet cloth and gently run it over your face so you leave a bit on your skin.
