1Protocol: A clinical study was conducted on 30 subjects, Chinese females, 18-50 years old, with self-perceived redness. Phyto Corrective was applied over the face. Infrared images and temperature was taken immediately post-application.
2Protocol: A study was conducted on UVB stimulated 3D epidermal model with a blank control, negative control, positive control, and Phyto Corrective. I have been using this product for about 6 months. I have problematic skin and I use this as my last step morning and night (before sunscreen and nighttime cream). It feels like silk on my skin and really calms my skin, I have noticed such s a difference in the texture of my skin since using! If you have problematic skin, I highly suggest adding this to your skin care routine.

I was looking for a hydrating serum that wasn't squalene and that would help with drier/sensitive areas on my face. I've been using it every night for the past 2 1/2 weeks and noticed a huge difference in my skin( in fact, It made a difference after my first use): in the morning, my skin is super smooth, hydrated, plumped and kind of glowy too. I use it after my retinoids and top it with a moisturizer. Definitely a must in my routine. A little goes a long way: 3 drops are enough for my face and neck.

Love this gel!
This gel far exceeded my expectations. It keeps my skin calm and soothed and has also seemed to work toward lessening dark spots. I apply it at night over my entire face and neck/chest area. In the morning I also spot apply anywhere I feel a blemish coming on. the only this I don't like is the extra added coloring. I am not sure why that would be necessary as part of the formula and I have noticed it can leave a subtle stain on my hand after applying.

Broke Me Out
I wasn't able to finish even half the bottle because my skin didnt get along with kojic acid. I broke out all over my face and once I stopped using this product, the breakouts stopped. It might work for some. I personally love Skin Ceuticals but this product didnt help me

Irritating
I really wanted to like this serum and use it as a way to calm my sensitized acne prone skin. Retinol and exfoliants have done great things for my acne but now I have red blotches on my cheeks that do not go away. Unfortunately this serum, when applied 2x a day, did nothing for those blotches and made me breakout again. I stopped breaking out when I stopped using the serum as it was the only thing introduced to my routine. Would recommend giving it a try if it works for naturally sensitive skin but it may not work on skin sensitized by other products.
