This mattifying, 100% physical sunscreen is formulated with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to deliver high broad-spectrum UV protection with a shine-free, matte finish, even in the most humid temperatures. Apply sunscreen liberally to the face, neck, and chest 15 minutes before sun exposure and before applying makeup. Reapply sunscreen after 40 minutes of swimming, sweating, immediately after towel drying, and least every two hours. For children under six months of age, consult a physician before use.

Nice try
Maybe it was the high expectations of being a skinceutical product that's tinted, spf 50, AND mattifying, but this product did not deliver. Product wasn't really mattifying and felt wet on the skin. No oil absorbing and just sits there. It's difficult to shake and mix the product because of its stiff small tube. It feels very siliconey and may be why it's pilling so much as well. I have to lightly tap on the product and use quite the amount to get decent spf coverage on my face and neck. This takes way too long for daily application. My skin tone is considered light with cool undertones and this brought a hint of summer warmth to my face, a tad too dark in my opinion. This would be good for warm or neutral tones that are between light and medium skin tones. Colorscience Sunforgettable (lightest shade) is a much better fit for my skin. Maybe this is actually better for those with dry skin?

Best Sunscreen Ever!
I've tried every variation of facial sunscreens: mineral, chemical, cream, spray, tinted, non-tinted, sport, non-sport, and so on. I kept coming back to this one, even over more expensive ones. This sunscreen has a light, powdery feel with a matte, skin-tone finish. It's best if you use your own preferred moisturizer underneath this sunscreen. Because this sunscreen is "physical," meaning that tiny particles of zinc actually rest on the skin, I get the most effective, longer-lasting sunscreen than the chemical ones. I work outside all day, so I have to have one that doesn't run in my eyes. Because I use retinol, I need a serious sunscreen that lasts. This one does that, and it's delicate tint keeps it from looking chalky. The tint doesn't seem to affect the look of my skin directly, but it prevents that awful ghostly look. Well worth every penny!

Matte Holy Grail
This has become my absolute favorite facial sunscreen. It keeps my face matte and smooth all day, even in the south through hot outdoor activities, without a hint of greasiness or shine. Beautiful coverage and no white residue like most physical sunscreens. Skinceuticals please create a daily / lighter matte tinted moisturizer just like this-would use every day except this is a little thicker so I save it for pool and summer activities!! THE best... haven't found anything else like it.

Great Matte SPF
Loved the matte texture, it dried down beautifully without drying out my skin and I liked the light coverage - perfect for Summer. Unfortunately, it clogged my pores so not great if you have overactive oil skin.

I love skinceuticals and this is very good spf, however there is a grainy texture I do not like and I won't be buying again bc of it. I prefer a smooth texture such as supergoop or PCA skincare (Tinted or non tinted) for this particular product.

Not what I was expecting. Does not appear to be something that I would use every day. Kind of lacking in moisture and the tint did not seem to make any difference with my skin tone. I was expecting a more overall finish but not with my skin tone. I have very dry skin so probably not the best product for me. I need super moisture.
