- 5% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®): this microfine zinc oxide is a mineral filter that reflects sun rays to provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The particle size and distribution characteristics spread evenly and provide a non-whitening effect on skin.

Not like other tinted sunscreens
After reading raving reviews for Elta MD tinted sunscreen I decided to give it ago. I was so disappointed by how orange it looked on me. Im a skinceuticals fan and have liked every product Ive tried by them. So even though the fact that I could pick my shade concerned me I decided to take a chance on it. It blends with my light skin so well and gives a nice light coverage. My only complaint is it does look pretty shiny on my oily skin. It could be easily controlled with powder on top.

I love this sunscreen! As a 26 y/o male I have been using it for about 4 years and find that it provides a very natural look to my skin while covering up mild redness and acne pigmentation. Love that it is physical as it doesn't irritate my sensitized skin and since it has iron oxides they also block out blue light. Only thing I wish, similar to Elta's UV Clear, is that there was some additional ingredients to help skin (niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, etc.). The larger bottle lasts months and is a great value, the little bottle is TSA friendly and easy to travel with.

Pretty surprised by all of these high ratings, because this sunscreen is not it. It's super runny, has a heavy sunscreen smell, and the packaging creates a mess if you're not careful about opening and closing it. It feels greasy and unpleasant on the skin too. I finally had to purchase a different one because I could not wait to finish this one. While I liked it in the beginning, I'm updating my review since I've found other formulas that work and feel better.
