SkinCeuticals' Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50 not only provides broad-spectrum sun protection from both burning and aging sun rays, but it also offers a universal tint that enhances your skin tone and boosts radiance. Designed to glide on smoothly without leaving behind any oily or white residue, this lightweight formula is water-resistant for up to 40 minutes.
Key Ingredients:
- 5% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®): this microfine zinc oxide is a mineral filter that reflects sun rays to provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The particle size and distribution characteristics spread evenly and provide a non-whitening effect on skin.
- 6% Titanium Dioxide: microfine titanium dioxide is a mineral SPF filter that acts as a weightless reflector on skin to protect against UVA and UVB rays.
- Artemia Salina: this plankton extract helps boost skin’s natural defenses and resistance to UV- and heat-induced stress.
- Translucent Color Spheres: iron oxide spheres that act as a color-infused technology to enhance natural skin tone and boost radiance while providing a universal tint for your skin tone.
Key Benefits:
- Sheer, tinted sunscreen adapts to skin tone without a white cast
- Water-resistant for up to 40 minutes
- Boosts radiance for a more even, luminous complexion
- Helps boost skin’s natural defenses to environmental stress
- Paraben-free and fragrance-free; non-comedogenic
- Ideal for all skin types, even very sensitive skin

Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 by SkinCeuticals
I did not start wearing sunscreen on my face until about five years ago when my dermatologist recommended this brand. I knew I should be applying sunscreen daily, but I could not find one that I liked. This sunscreen is amazing! I like this sunscreen because I do not have to worry about it breaking out my skin. It even stays on when I am perspiring heavily at my daughter's swim meets during the summer months. I also like the way it feels when I apply it to my skin. It blends in quickly while providing a little coverage. I still apply foundation over it, but I don't have to worry about my make up sliding off. Great product!!

love this product!
I wish I had known about this product long before now. It may have prevented the basal cell skin cancers I have had on my nose and forehead. I use it on my face each morning. It is by far the best face sunscreen I have ever tried. It goes on smooth, feels light, has a makeup tint that you can wear without any other makeup if you wish.

Best sunscreen- my HG
I cannot say enough about how I love this product. I moisturize with cream and 2-3 drops of oil, wait a few minutes and put this sunscreen on. I don't wear any foundation or powder ever and have incredibly dry skin. This sunscreen gives a beautiful hydrated dewey look. There's no smell and it's incredibly silky and not drying at all. It offers great protection. I push it into my hairline. Well worth investing in this. It has never caused a breakout or clogged my pores. I think my skin actually looks better when I have this on.

Favorite Sunscreen
This is by far the best daily sunscreen I have tried. I have been using this product for over a year and a half now. The liquid consistently with the universal tint absorbs into my skin quickly and I can apply makeup perfectly right on top of it. It does not cause me break out as I have fairly oily skin too. There is no greasy feeling from wearing it all day. I would recommend to all.

My Favorite Product
This is the best sunscreen on the planet. Throw out your foundation, moisturizer, and sunscreen. This does it ALL in one, easy step. Love!

Wanted to love it
I wanted to love this sunscreen. It felt amazing on my skin, and sat well under make-up. I didn't feel like it was tacky at all, and could be used in place of my primer. However, both times I wore it outside, my face burned after reapplying regularly as instructed. After both sunburns, it took my face several days to somewhat get back to normal. I have light but not fair skin, and I don't feel like I got the sun protection with this as I do with many other sunscreens.

causes break outs
Do not use this product if you are remotely acne prone! It clogs your pores within one day, I literally break the day after I use it. Yes it blocks the sun but then I have acne all over my face. I should have returned this product. The texture is too liquid as well. and takes a long time to sink in.

A little tacky but no stinging
Many SPF lotions can sting..but this one seemed better than most in that area. It felt a little tacky and made makeup application a bit challenging as it seemed sticky. If you are wearing without makeup it would be great.

Not As Shine Free As I Hoped, But Better Than Others I've Tried
Preferred to so many others I've tried. During the very humid months I do not use a moisturizer in the morning; instead, I use Paula's Choice RESIST Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum, prior to applying sunscreen. I use the Physical Fusion on my face, but have to switch the Sheer Physical UV Defense for my forehead. I have gone naturally grey and the hair framing my face is a bright silvery-white. Unfortunately, application is a bit hard to control around my hairline, and the Physical Fusion can stain my hair. I also prefer the Sheer Physical formula for my neck and chest. I'm sure SkinCeuticals is more than happy that I have to purchase both.

Not for pale skin
I had to return this after I opened it. The tint is orange on pale skin like mine. Probably fine for anyone else though.
