Unique in my collection
I've only used this cream a few times so far. I live in the Northeast US and this time of year, spend most of my time indoors, so I don't know that it makes sense to apply a specific eye SPF on a daily basis, given its price. But it's the only specific eye SPF that I own (except for the BareMinerals BB cream shadows, which have SPF 15) and I will definitely use it more on days when I plan to spend more time outdoors. I have used it all around my eyes, including on the lids, and no irritation so far. It's lightly smoothing. I don't usually wear an undereye concealer, and this serves as a very, very lightly tinted concealer on me. I have used it under eye shadow, and I don't believe it affects the shadows' wear. All in all, it is expensive for a small amount of product, but it is unique in my collection and I will feel good wearing it as warmer days approach and I spend more time outside.

OK, a little dark for fair skin
This was too dark for my fair skin so I ended up not using it after trying a couple times. The tint is a grayish beige. Also it is not really suited for use as a eyeshadow primer as it is creamy and definitely does not hold shadow in place. I also have to say I had a bad experience with dermstore customer service. I remember being excited about dermstore at one time but now I am not sure why. Plenty of other places to buy the same products and the customer service people are really not friendly and defensive in my experience. Calling to find out where your order is since it's past 3 days? Can't do anything, it's your fault. Asking about a return? Can't do anything, it's your fault. It's really their attitude and dlivery that is the issue. And this was always the case now that I think about it. I think my last order with dermstore will actually be my last order.

Horrible experience
I do not have sensitive skin, nor have I ever reacted to any other skin, eye, SPF, or other product in this way. I am normally a fan of Skinceuticals products and was very excited to try this one. However... I used this for 3 days, no problem. On the 3rd day, I had a bit of light itching but passed it off as it was late on a sweaty day and soon washed my face and eyes. Tried it again on a 4th day and the itching became intolerable, so I washed my eyes, discontinued use, and resumed my normal routine. One week+ later, the skin around both eyes and my eyelids was bright red, scaly, dry, and itchy. I've now spent hundred of dollars trying to remedy the situation from this severe reaction - 2 out-of-pocket eye doctor visits, prescription opthalmic steroid cream - and I'm still not completely out of the woods. I may even be left with scarring.
