Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

Ok, but not sure if I'll continue
While I like this much better than CE Ferulic, I'm not sure I will stick with it long term. It doesn't break me out like CE Ferulic did. I'm just finishing my first bottle and find it goes on well. I don't see a significant change in my skin and there's a lot of alcohol in it. It's a very pricey product for alcohol to be such a key ingredient.

Extremely dark, burnt smell

Liquid gold for skin
I started using this serum about 6 years ago at the recommendation of my derm. Due to its high cost I rationed this out to use every 3 days in the morning. The bottles would last me about 10 months, with great results. Acne scars and skin discoloration have faded and I know my skin is being protected from future sun damage while using this. I even saw the little furrow or bunny line disappear from between my eyes. I also noticed that acne flare ups healed faster with this serum. I've tried other brands of vitamin c serum and they just aren't as effective as this one. This serum is 100% worth it. If you have oily or acne prone skin like me, use the CF. I found it gave me better results than the CE which is better for dryer skin types.

Eased into daily use
This was recommended by a physician years ago but I was not consistent with its use until the last 6 months. I have combination skin that has always been prone to breakouts and it has become more fragile as I age. Initially, I found that using it every morning was a bit much. The skin high on my cheeks, near my eyes was irritated. So, I backed off and eased into it gradually. I am now applying it five days a week (weekends off) followed by a moisturizer with no irritation. I do use other products at night but I feel like this has contributed to my skin looking bright and healthy. Using it consistently has really made a difference!

The absolute best vitamin C serum for acne/post hyperpigmentation
This vitamin C serum is the real deal. It does not smell great, but I would much rather have a product that smells like this than an ineffective one with perfume. Been using this serum for 3 months under sunscreen and I've seen a significant decrease in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and even new acne. This serum is 100% worth the money!

Great for Oily Skin
With acne prone oily skin, sometimes it is hard to find a serum that doesn't feel too heavy or cause breakouts. I have been using this for about a year now and I have to say, it absorbs into the skin well and will not leave you feeling greasy. Definitely on the expensive side, but I do think it's worth it.
