SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

When switching my Skincare products I started with Phloretin CF. I liked it so much that I added many other Skinceuticals products to my daily skincare routine. Smell reminds my of maple syrup, which took some getting used to. My skin is soft, clear and more even toned.

good purchase during the sale
I purchased this during the winter sale during black friday, but otherwise it would be too expensive for a common purchase. the texture is not as sticky as the drunk elephant vit c. I keep the blue box it comes in and flip it upside to help with slowing the oxidation. It requires consistent use (after 3 months of using it) for results such as skin brightness, and helps maintain skin hydration status not too oily or dry.

Great for oily skin
I was nervous to get an oil product as my face is very oily naturally and Im prone to acne, but this product absorbs nicely into my skin, doesn't make me feel greasy, Hasn't caused any breakouts, and great with daily moisturizer and spf. Highly recommend for oily skin.

The Best Vitamin C Serum.
This serum was recommended to me by my dermatologist and it truly is the best vitamin C serum I've ever tried. It brightens my skin, protects it and does not cause any adverse effects like acne or dermatitis. This works better for my skin type than the CE Ferulic which I tried first before this recommendation. I use this in the daytime underneath H. A. Intensifier, moisturizer and sunscreen. This is an excellent product.

Nice product
I opted to purchase this product over ce ferulic. Both are fantastic products but while I felt that the ce product did better at immediate brightening I didn't care for the tingling/burning effect. This product gave me the brightening effect without the stinging. This product does smell different than the ce product. Ce smelled like hotdog water this one smells something like coffee. I am hopeful it will help with a little patch of post pregnancy melasma. Fingers crossed.

I use this product at the recommendation of my skincare professional. It's PRICEY, yes, but just 4-5 drops rubbed around and pressed into your face seem to do the job. I had severe discoloration after having kids, and in combination with a regular face routine, I feel like this product helps fade those spots. And I know Vitamin C is good for skin overall, so I continue to layer this in every AM. The only think I don't love is the bottle and applicator for this. I dang near cried after putting the applicator back in the bottle one day as the bottle tipped and about $50 worth of product spilled (it's a water-like consistency). I have since been extra diligent about putting the applicator back in the product, but be warned, it's pretty easy to tip over and spill pricey product! :(

Wanted to love it....
I waited so long to get this product and finally talked myself into spending the money. I was so excited based off of the other reviews of skinceuticals vitamin c. Sadly, I just finished a whole bottle and I felt like it did nothing for me :( the smell isn't bad but also isn't great, and I guess it doesn't leave me feeling greasy or sticky which is good compared to other vitamin c's. Since I just ran out, I decided to opt for a different vitamin c because I can't justify the price of this without any noticeable results

Works Well for Oily Skin
I have oily skin and this serum absorbs really well into my skin. This is one of my favorite serums to use that give you that natural glow, no makeup needed look. There's a disclosure stating the acid may discolor. Mine actually has and leaves my palms a slight tint of orange and has a bit of an odd smell when I apply. I'm able to wash away the orange tint and it doesn't leave my face smelling odd. I'll still repurchase once mine runs out. This is one of my favorite brands-I also use their eye cream and face wash.
