SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

I don't have anything negative to say about this product. I have not noticed much of a difference but I feel like this is going to be a product that, with maintained application, will show reveal beautiful results. I also don't mind the scent.

This product is worth the price. I have only been using for a few weeks and notice a big improvement in the evenness of my skin tone. I have used similar products by other brands that felt too oily, however, this serum does not feel too heavy on my face. Highly recommend!

Exacerbates blackheads

My facialist recommended this. It doesn't break me out if used sparingly -3 drops applied directly to my face every other a.m. Any more, and it leaves a sticky residue and causes blackheads, almost like it's oxidizing in my pores throughout the course of the day. I don't see any improvement after finishing the bottle. Will not repurchase.

Great serum for reducing scarring and uneven skin tones

I started using the Skinceuticals Phloretin CF upon recommndation from my facial esthetician, who had recommended it for daily use to minimize acne scarring and uneven skin tones. I definitely notice a difference when I don't use this serum. Gentle on skin and safe to use daily - I apply after misting and before applying moisturizer/sunscreen. It's pricey but one bottle will last you a while.

My new Holy Grail Product

I have previously used every vitamin C I could find. Many have irritated my sensitive or were not as effective as this bottle. I am a skincare product JUNKIE. I've tried so many brands from drugstore to luxury and read all of the forums out there. Many in those communities tell you that Skinceuticals is not worth the money and there are other similar formulations out there so I always stayed away. As an extremely oily skinned gal, I was hesitant to wear a serum under my makeup everyday but this one wears beautifully under and I get such a nice glow. My texture has changed so much in just a few weeks, something I normally can't get without harsh chemical exfoliation. Best product for acne prone aging skin

Skinceuticals is one of the best brands. My Dermatologist encouraged me to try their cleanser and daily moisturizer. I have been using this brand for years. I am 27 with fair,, acne prone, rosacea skin. I require a lot of sunscreen to protect my sensitive skin. This is my first vitamin C purchase. Let me tell you, this it the best purchase out there. I chose this particular product over the CE Ferulic because my skin is sensitive and acne prone. I have been using it for one week and my skin and pores have never been smoother and more radiant. I use: EltaMD Foaming facial cleanser EltaMD UV clear 45 sunscreen Skinceuticals Phloretin CF Skinceuticals nightly B vitamin moisturizer The Phloretin CF has a very different smell but I do not mind it. I put it on every morning after washing my face before sunscreen. It is the most important product I now own. I will be buying every three months going forward (the shelf life is three months). Save up and buy it. You won't regret it.
