Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

Finally a Vitamin C I can use!
I have tried so many Vitamin C serums over the years and they all irritated/burned my skin. My esthetician also has sensitive/combination skin and she recommended I try Phloretin CF. She told me if it burns, then C just isn't for me. Luckily, it worked! It leaves a tingling sensation, which is normal. BTW a tingling sensation is very different than burning sensation! I used to try to convince myself that minor stinging or burning was close to tingling, but it's not, no matter how bad you want a product to work for your skin type. All in all, it's been great. The red marks on my face have diminished, and my skin is less oily. So happy I bought this! Kept in the fridge, this product can last 6-7 months.

Very sticky and may cause breakouts
As much as I wanted to love this product, I don't think I will buy it again. The texture is very very sticky and I don't love the way it feels and goes on my skin. It's Also light sensitive and I therefore wish it came with a dark bag to keep it from oxidizing in light.

Really wanted to like it
I knew that this was supposed to be a holy grail product and I really wanted to like it. My aesthetician recommended it to me and said to use this product (Phloretin CF) as opposed to C E Ferulic, because this would work better with my oily skin. I used it every morning and 1. did not see that much change on my skin (I was hoping for a more even skin tone) 2. made my skin SUPER shiny. Like, greasy shiny. I used the whole bottle though but I would not repurchase

MY HOLY GRAIL
I absolutely LOVE using this serum every morning on my oily, acne-prone skin. I used to use the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, but was then recommended this product as a better fit for my specific skin. And wow, it is incredible. Old acne spots that have lingered for years are finally disappearing and my skin is much more bright and healthy overall. Expensive, but best daily serum.

worth it, give it time
I began using Phloretin by recommendation of my dermatologist and it's been about a year. It's pricey but worth it to apply regularly morning and night. Friends and strangers comment I look younger than my age, younger than my peers. I use Phloretin versus Ferulic because it's better for oily skin. Try it, give it time and you (and others!) will notice a difference.

Effective but small breakouts
I've only been using this for a week but it definitely helps with skin brightening and fading post inflammatory erythema. Unfortunately, it breaks me out in tiny red bumps, but I'm hoping my skin gets used to it soon.

Wanted to like this
I've tried SkinCeuticals in the past and have generally liked their products. I have also tried CE Ferulic and felt the same about this product as I do about Phloretin CF: the product just smells awful. It's difficult to cover up the smell and the smell takes hours to fade away. If you're layering this product under moisturizers, the smell will definitely get trapped on your face for longer. The texture is also very liquid which makes it difficult to apply without using a lot of the product- which goes to waste on your hands. The product does have minimal ingredients, however, this is likely why it does not smell good (pro and con). I was not able to use the product long enough to appreciate any difference in my skin.
