SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

Transformative
I didn't want to like this, truly, at this price point I REALLY didn't want to. Unfortunately, it's amazing. Others are right about the smell (hot dogs, fades quickly) but it absolutely delivers on skin brightening. I used to use Skinmedica's CE serum and this blew that out of the water. It will be the one skincare item I don't compromise on moving forward.

On my THIRD Bottle!
I have just purchased my third bottle of this serum- don't worry though it does last a good amount of time. I selected this serum versus the cult classic C E Ferulic one because I have moderate freckles (discoloration), have about 3 breakouts each month (but more with more frequent mask wearing because I am a RN) and I have combo skin. When I really looked at the ingredients and purpose of each of the SkinCeuticals vitamin C serums and compared the two (I even took the quiz on the actual SkinCeuticals website), this one was a much better option for me, even though I was hesitant to not go with the hugely popular one. Although my discoloration is not entirely gone, my skin is overall brighter and looking younger. This serum has made a huge difference in my complexion and it is why I keep on repurchasing it. I wish it did have a higher concentration of vitamin C, but it still does the job. I preferred this serum over the Obagi 20% vitamin C serum- I actually saw better results with this one. I use this product every morning after washing my face and applying toner. If you are looking for a great vitamin C serum to help brighten up and protect you from free radical skin damage- this is a great place to start!

Great option for sensitive skin
A vitamin c serum is a must for me and SkinCeuticals is a well loved brand for good reason. The Phloretin CF is worth trying over their more popular CE Ferulic if you can't tolerate vitamin e or a higher percentage of vitamin c. It goes on almost like water, isn't drying or oily like other brands, and leaves my skin looking all around younger. I'm currently using their vitamin c serum 10% AOX which has a similar effect for me and is cheaper, but I'll probably switch to the phloretin or CE Ferulic as I get older. I extend my bottle by keeping it in the fridge (refilling a 4ml sample size dropper to keep at my nightstand for use), and also by only using it every other day which gives me the same results.
