SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

So far, so good
This was recommended to me by my esthetician and I've been using it consistently for about a month now. I do find it helps a lot with tone and clarity. And, I do feel extra ~glowy~. BEST OF THE BEST!
I was nervous to try out Vitamin C for so long due to my acne-prone skin. I was a regular user of CE Ferulic, but started having breakouts even though I’m 65 years young, so I stopped using it. Didn’t take long for me to see sun spots popping up and my skin just didn’t look good. No more breakouts with this product and my skin is looking great.

best vitamin c serum for pigmentation concerns
I've tried all of SkinC's vitamin C serums and this one is truly the best for accelerating the reduction of hyperpigmentation. When I get inflammation/acne on my face and it leaves a dark mark, I find that the hyperpigmentation disappears within a couple weeks, which is crazy. This does not happen with the CE ferulic or the Silymarin.

MY HOLY GRAIL
I have used this for 4 years now. This helped keep the glow on my skin. I do not wear make any make up when I go out! I used to have bad acne. With the help of tretinoin and this product, I am able to gain my confidence back! My face got irritated by C E ferulic, I was recommended by my dermatologist to use Phloretin instead. Never stopped using since!!!

Love this product
I know most people gravitate to the CE ferulic, and it is the serum I use in the wintertime when my skin is a bit more dry, but for most of the year I use this one because I run more of the oily side. I am very fragrance sensitive and this does not bother me at all. My routine consists of this, then the basic hyaluronic gel, then a moisturizer with spf. In the summer, I top it off with Kate Sommerville makeup setting with spf. My skin just glows. Yes, I know it is expensive, but a little goes a long way and I dont think there is anything else in the market that is comparable. I usually wait until Dermstore sends me a Skinceuticals coupon and then stock up on the items I use. Been using for years and people are often shocked at my near 50 age, thinking I am a good decade younger. 100% recommended.

It's Nice
I know 'it's nice' is far from a glowing review but after using the product for 2 months I have not noticed much difference in my skin. The product was dermatologist recommended to me so maybe I just need to use it for a few more months. Some reviews complained about a smell. I don't really notice it. My skin feels nice when I use it but with the price I would like visible results.
