SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

I love this product. Yes, it's expensive but totally worth it. I swear by any SkinCeuticals product. I tried using the other two serums (C E Ferulic and Silymarin CF) but this one works best for my skin. I have oily skin and C E made my face too oily and Silmarin made my face sticky. With this product, my face is glowing and it has helped with my sun damage. I think you have to do trial and error to find what works best for your skin, and this one is mine!

I really liked this product and it made a noticeable difference in my skin. The only issue was that it started oxidizing when I was about 70% through the bottle. It also "peels" with certain moisturizers and sunscreens.

No comparison
I’ve tried other brands of vitamin C serums and I’ve never really noticed a difference. I definitely notice with this one though! I hate how pricey it is but I do think it really works. I’m almost done with my 2nd bottle and my acne scars have gotten considerably lighter. It takes time to work so you have to stick with it and be consistent, you won’t notice results overnight, but it’s worth it.
