SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.
- 0.5% Ferulic acid: a plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamins C and E.

This has been a holy grail product for me. Ever since developing forehead malasma last year, I've been on the hunt for a serum that targets the pigmentation as well as is anti-aging & doesn't exacerbate acne. This product has helped me lighten my pigmentation and keep my acne at bay, as well as help with fine lines. I've also been able to use it during pregnancy. My only complain is the STEEP price point and it smells like hot dogs.

I tried this on a whim as my medical aesthetician recommended it. It is very similar to CE ferulic but it does not have the sting. It made my skin feel very supple and it did not irritate. I go back-and-forth between this one and CE Ferulic but this one is more gentle.

So far so good, but not wow
I initial used SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and I have combination acne prone skin, so I ended up having a terrible reaction to it (tiny bumps all over my face for months). I tried this version and my skin was able to tolerate it much better without any reaction. I've seen some improvement, but for an expensive product I thought I'd see a much better outcome. It's just ok to me and I've been using it regularly for 3 months. I'm not sure if I'll purchase it again.
