SkinCeuticals' Phloretin CF provides powerful antioxidant protection to normal, oily and combination skin types. Designed for daytime use, this antioxidant serum neutralizes free radicals to prevent signs of accelerated skin aging. The blend of phloretin, pure vitamin C and Ferulic acid improve the appearance of discoloration, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Phloretin neutralizes damaging free radicals, improves cell turnover and lightens signs of discoloration. L-ascorbic acid protects your skin from oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits, while ferulic acid enhances the antioxidant benefits of phloretin and vitamin C.

- 2% Phloretin: derived from apples and the root bark of fruit trees including apple, pear, and grapefruit, this antioxidant neutralizes damaging free radicals, helps improve cell turnover, and improves the appearance of discoloration.
- 10% Pure vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid): lauded for its superior antioxidant benefits, this highly potent form of pure vitamin C neutralizes damaging free radicals and protects against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits.

Long term investment
I didn’t see any changes right away probably because I was using Vitamin C serum already. But this is the serum I would recommend that you purchase if you were looking for one because this won’t irritate your skin and quality is trustworthy. Most other serums have barely any Vitamin C in them. this one is 15%!

Husband is on the Skinceuticals Train!
My husband would never let me get Skinceuticals for him, because he said it was too expensive. So, I got him used to using my CE Ferulic. After consulting with a Skinceuticals aesthetician, we decide the Phloretin CF was better for him since he tends to have oily skin and the Vitamin E in my formula might be too hydrating for him. They have a gel version of this too, but we decided on the serum for ease of extracting every drop out of the bottle. The gel is a pump and probably harder to get out every drop. This is not cheap stuff but well worth the money!

Magic in a bottle
This is such a fantastic product. I have been using the CE Ferulic, and I still do, but on alternating weeks I use this one. The results are smooth, bouncy, plump, soft, even toned skin. Fine lines smoothed too. For reference: I have sensitive skin, and had no adverse reaction. My SkinCeuticals morning routine is as follows: First, I cleanse alternating with Glycolic Renewal Cleanser Gel, and twice a week with Micro Exfoliating Scrub, next I tone with REN Daily Steady Glow AHA Lotion Tonique , I then apply CE Ferulic or this product, follow with HA intensifier, next B5 gel, AGE Eye Complex, then Triple Lipid Restore, and last SPF 50 Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen. I love this sunscreen bc it has a tint, goes on so smooth, and doesn’t interfere with make application. One side note: make sure you wait at least 30sec-1min in between products just to give each one a chance to absorb before applying the next one. I know we are in a hurry sometimes, but trust me on this. I am complimented all the time on how great my skin looks! Evening Routine: Apply cleanser to my PMD tool and massage face for 3-5min, really getting all makeup off, next I apply Resveratrol BE, B5 gel, AGE Eye Complex, followed by Triple Lipid Restore moisturizer. You can add in the Neck repair at this time as well. Don’t forget your lips! I use Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Lastly, I sleep on my SLIP pure silk pillowcase because I sure don’t want all my time and money spent on these fine products sinking into a cotton pillowcase! Note: Twice a month (2-3days a week alternating days) I add in Retinol 1.0 in the evening. This stuff is strong and it will tighten, and make you feel a little dry, and peel slightly. Use generously your moisturizing products mentioned above, and it really helps! But the results are no joke, AMAZING! If you don’t use Retinol, maybe try working your way up to this strength. But for me, I want the maximum benefits straight away! The very last thing I’ll mention is that I keep all my skin products except for the sunscreen in the fridge. Again, I want to help keep these expensive products fresh, and I find the cooling effect feels great on my skin. Hope this review was helpful. This is my 2nd bottle, and I love it. Brighter, smooth, soft skin. I use it daily in the morning after cleaning, and toning. Follow with HA intensifier, B5 gel, Triple Lipid moisturizer, and last SPF50. Skin has never looked better.
