It's really only one of the only products that you can see results with in a week or two. You can tell just in that short time that your complexion is brighter. I think the acidity (which is not drying) helps keep your pores clear, which prevents breakouts. Also, I like how it's moisturizing, so it's a good base for my BB cream.

My dermatologist recommended I try the Phloretin CF Serum to protect my skin and help even my skin tone (I had sun freckles and some hyper pigmentation). Whatever Phloretin is, it works... My coloring is even and my skin looks so healthy. That said, the serum dripped and ran through my fingers. I ended up wasting a lot. The gel doesn't do that and a container ends up lasting a lot longer. Go with the gel.
