Better than the liquid
I’ve used the original liquid for years. I was curious about this formula which offers the same skin benefits but in a gel with a pump dispenser. I like this texture and packaging better. The pump protects product from air exposure and the gel applies a bit more smoothly with no wasted drops.

Great for Under Your Face Mask
I first heard about this when Dr. Shereen Idriss mentioned it on her YouTube channel as a Vitamin C serum that goes well under a face mask. I tried it out and it's in my weekly rotation for Vitamin C serums I wear under moisturizer and sunscreen. It's feels smooth and refreshing on your skin. I really like this brand and feel like it's worth the price given the ingredient list.

Love this serum
This serum is great, comes in a sun-safe container that makes the product last longer without oxidizing. It also doesn’t break me out and feels lightweight on the skin. I have tried the original CE Ferulic but it was too greasy and gave me a few cystic pimples. This is an excellent alternative if you have oily acne prone skin like me.

No Breakouts
I've tried many of the Skinceuticals vitamin c serums including Silymarin CF, Phloretin CF (dropper version) and CE Ferulic. They have all been great, but I really like that the gel can't accidentally spill and hopefully the packaging prevents it from oxidizing as fast. All of these serums have worked well for my skin, but I stopped using CE Ferulic in case the vitamin E was causing any breakouts. None of the other serums I've tried have caused breakouts to my knowledge, and the gel is no exception. I still may have the occasional hormonal flare up, but these days its maybe one or two spots at most. Highly recommend : ) Also be sure to note that the Phloretin CF formulas have a lower vitamin c concentration at 10% vs the CE Ferulic and Silymarin CF which have 15% vitamin c, so this may make a difference for some depending on tolerance or sensitivity.

Perfect daytime addition to my skincare!
I was previously using IS Clinical's Pro-Heal Serum and wanted to try out another Vitamin C serum, so I grabbed this! I have used the CE Ferulic in the past and while I did like it, I think I like this gel better. It's easier to apply than the liquid serums and it doesn't have the strong hot dog smell CE Ferulic has, haha! I definitely notice if I forget to put this on in the morning! I put this on before the Skinceuticals Daytime Moisturizer. This combo doesn't go on greasy and helps my makeup application look flawless!

Brighter days ahead
This is a remarkable product and well worth the money. The acne marks I suffer from have faded dramatically. The packaging is also ideally for maintaining the potency and shelf life of the ingredients. It does smell a bit like hot dogs (?) but that fades quickly.

I used to use the CE Ferulic, but I like this better for my oily, acne prone skin. I also really like that it's in an airless pump instead of a dropper bottle.

like this serum, hate the scent of it
I really like this serum, it's very effective yet still pretty gentle. It doesn't sting at all. Really does a nice job of helping my skin look fresh. I think I hate the scent of ferulic acid though. The smell does dissipate after a while. The packaging is great, it keeps the C fresh and from oxidizing.

I much prefer this gel over the serum which I tried for a year. I have oily skin that's very acne prone and this does not break me out at all. The gel is very easy to apply, it doesn't run off your fingers and, after several weeks of use, I've noticed improvement in the overall look of my skin (I also use sunscreen everyday, even indoors). There is a slight smell to it, but it's faint and not bothersome. Will definitely keep purchasing!

It absorbs into the skin very fast. I also like that it's a pump so it doesn't have contact with air/light as opposed to a dropper and therefore won't oxidize as fast. Will definitely repurchase once I run out.
