SkinCeuticals LHA Toner is your key to targeting aging skin prone to breakouts. The triple threat treatment is formulated with a low pH blend of lipo hydroxy acid (LHA), glycolic acid and salicylic acid to remove excess residue and dead skin cells while purifying clogged pores. The combination of ingredients is meant to work in harmony with the LHA Cleansing Gel and LHA Serum and to help prep skin for clinical procedures and professional treatments.

Purifying Toner
Even after double-cleansing my face, this toner still removes impurities that remain on my skin. It is effective which is why I've repurchased it several times. However, the reason I docked a star is that the packaging could be improved - when travelling, the bottle leaks. It also has a white, flakey residue around the rim of the bottle.

contains alcohol and burns
I wish I had read the ingredients before purchasing this toner, because alcohol is the second ingredient and I wouldn't have purchased had I known that. I don't expect alcohol in brands at this price-point. I don't have sensitive or reactive skin but this makes my skin incredibly itchy after application, like a burning sensation.

Too harsh for my sensitive skin
I usually use the Equalizing Toner, but since I do something still have acne, I once decided to change it up and try this LHA toner, but it was way too strong for what I needed. It was obvious from the first application and so sadly it was a waste. I definitely want to go back to my Equalizing Toner, but it's been out of stock for a while, and now I'm stuck without any toner at all. I'll be ordering double for sure next time.

really harsh
i didn't find this particularly helpful in keeping hormonal acne at bay, and it was SO harsh on my skin. i definitely will not repurchase.

Very strong, stings
I exclusively use Skinceuiticals in my routine. I use LHA gel cleanser every morning and night. Tried adding in the LHA toner, which works well, but I cant use it every day. 3x a week at most, otherwise it burns my skin. On the other days I use Skinceuticals Equalizing Toner which is mild and good for everyday use. Strong and effective, but not for sensitive skin to use everyday. Follow it with Skinceuitcals Daily Moisturizer and tinted sunscreen.

Strong but good
Not for everyday use with my skin. But I use a small dropper to take minimal amount to make it last longer since this products always goes out of stock. My skin has been noticably better but this stuff is strong. Make sure you moisturize after.
