Great Toner
Skinceutical's LHA Toner is awesome. I have mature skin but with HRT have been breaking out like a teen again. This toner, along with their cleanser and blemish serum has been a huge help! No offensive scent and it is not overly drying as some acne specific toners can be.

Great toner but be careful with other products
Love this toner for really cleaning off my skin and providing exfoliation. Would not say it's gentle, and definitely can sting a bit. The key for me I discovered is to be careful layering this product with other serums. I really love to use some heavy duty serums (Vitamin C in AM and Vitamin E in PM) and I found that for my skin this toner is overkill when layered with those other products. But great when used on its own!

This is the first time ever I felt the urge to leave any review online. The review is with respect to both the product itself and the shopping experience I had on this website. To try to be concise, the products came in much later than estimated, with flimsy and tawdry packaging, Because of the much delayed shipping, I had reached out to Dermsotre, requesting a cancellation since I won't be able to receive the shipment so that I will have time to try the items. Especially so since the order has a total of nearly $1,000 worth of products. I haven't heard back from Dermstore for several days, until later they had responded with a highly automated message that didn't even remotely address a customer's concern. It is understandable during the pandemic, more uncertainty is involved, but there must be a line separating irresponsibility and circumstance. Worse, the SkinCeuticals toner and Brightening Set burned my face and has caused my face to shed dry skins. This's the first and the last time I shop from Dermstore.com

First Toner I've ever Used
To be honest, I did not realize the importance of using a toner until very recently. I moved from Washington to Texas and my skin has become much more sensitive and oily. I began getting more blackheads and whiteheads than normal so I decided to look into my skin care routine. Adding the LHA toner has helped but there are some downfalls too. I find that if I use it anywhere on my face other than on my T-zone it dries my skin out too much. If I use it too often it irritates my skin and makes it worse. Also, if I don't use a hydrating serum or cream my skin gets flaky. With that, I do believe that it has balanced out the amount of excess oils on my brow, nose, and chin. It's helped reduced my pore size and it helped clear up the abnormal acne I was getting. On top of that, I've noticed an improvement in my hyper-pigmentation on my cheeks. So if you want my opinion, try not to use this too often and make sure to follow it with a hydrating serum or moisturizer. I think this toner is worth it if you're looking to clear up your skin.

My go to for acne prone oily skin toner
This is more of an astringent toner that is great for my oily thicker skin. I don't think it will work great for dry/sensitive types. It dries quickly with no residue and clears my acne. I use a benzoyl peroxide after and it keeps me clear.
