Okay product
I bought this in hopes of relieving my dry, flaky skin, but I didn't see much improvement. It's very greasy and almost same texture as Aquaphor, but more expensive. I love the brand, but for the price, thought I'd see more improvement sooner.

Hydra Balm works wonders
I have been using this prododuct for a few years. I use it after traveling especially in hot dry areas or going to the beach. I use at night sometimes two nights in a row if my skin is really parched and it helps to nourish my dry skin. Living in the desert it been critical for my skin and I always take it with me when I travel.

Not good for combo or acneic skin types
I bought this because petrolatum is a standard treatment for dry, eczematic skin, particularly when the weather is dry. I thought this would be a little nicer than straight up Vaseline. It's really not. Maybe somewhat more luxe to the touch, but I would not want to be seen with this stuff on my face just as much as I would not want to be seen with Vaseline on my face. Also since purchasing, I've learned that there are ingredients here (the oils, the isopropyl palmitate, and isopropyl myristate) that are terrible for skin prone to breakouts. These ingredients also feed a fungus commonly found on skin in small amounts but which is known to present itself in a way that looks like "dryness" if your skin has too much of it. I would not recommend this for eczema. You are better off using straight petrolatum (i.e. Vaseline) or if you don't react to silicones, Vaniply is a great ointment I recently discovered. And Vaniply is actually approved by National Ezcema Association, this one is not. Good luck.

Great for chapstick!
I have very sensitive lips that peel like crazy. I can't use regular chapstick and the gal who did my facial recommended this for me (I usually use plain Vaseline). Perfect last step of night time routine
I had purchase this just as the cold temperatures hit. Every winter my skin is severely dry/dehydrated due to the weather and using tretinoin. Other sleep masks that I had been using were not helping very much. I used this and saw significant improvements within a few days. The dry flakes were minimal within a week and I wake up with soft skin. I have been using this about 4-5 nights a week and so far, have not seen any more dry flakes at all. I could see this tube lasting for quite a long times as only a small pea size is needed each time.
