skin seems a little smoother
I have used this almost every night for a couple of months and feel that my skin is a little smoother and looks less dull. It does make your skin more sensitive to sun so I always wear sunscreen. At bedtime, I always wash with a cleansing oil first to make sure I remove all the sunscreen and then follow with this wash.

Gycolic Renewal Gel deeply cleans and exfoliates your skin; it is meant for your face, as a cleanser. You do not leave it on like a mask. It is not a peel per se, but encourages cell turnover and could cause mild peeling. Use as directed and your skin will glow. I have loved it and much prefer it to any other medical grade cleansers I have used.

This product caused my face to peel & burn
I've used SkinCeuticals products for years and been very happy with the results. Unfortunately, the Glycolic Renewal Gel Cleanser was too strong for my skin and caused my face to turn red, peel & burn. The irritation and peeling continued for 3 days so I definitely can't recommend this product.
